COVID-19 Return to Play Guidlines

New Age Flag Football Covid-19 Guidelines

Pre-Game

·         Do not attend any event if you, the athlete, or anyone you plan to attend with exhibits any symptoms such as fever, coughing, shortness of breath, or additional symptoms as outlined by the CDC.

·         Players must submit answers to the administered self-check weekly, prior to competition to their parent/guardian, which will then be given to league officials.

·         Do not attend any event if you or the athlete have been exposed to Covid-19 in the past 14 days.

·         Label water bottles, towels, and other personal equipment to help eliminate sharing.

 

Spectators

·         League officials will conduct additional temperature checks at the field, including all athletes.

·         If applicable, league officials may enforce separate entrances and exits to the facility.

·         Must socially distance at the field, providing at least 6 feet distance between other spectators.

·         Please bring your own seating if possible.

·         No congregating behind player/team benches.

·         Required to wear facemasks.

·         We ask that each family limit 2 spectators per athlete (if possible) to reduce the number of people at facility.

 

Game Protocol

·         Spectators must remain socially distanced away from player benches and coaches.

·         Players, do not share towels, clothing, and other personal equipment. Bring your own water and sports drinks as NO communal hydration stations will be available.

·         Designated sanitizing stations will be available for teams, coaches, officials to clean equipment and hands.

·         Teams must sanitize flags before the game, at halftime, and after the game.

·         Game officials must sanitize the ball before the game, at halftime, and after the game.

·         Athletes must wear a mask on the sideline.

·         Coaches and game officials must wear masks at all times.

·         Pre-game, during and post game – coaches, players and game officials should refrain from handshakes or physical celebration. Post-game sportsmanship shall be a round of applause with the other team.

·         Additional time in-between games will be built into the schedule. Please do not congregate after the game.

 

** In the case of a known COVID-19 exposure/illness/positive test, immediately notify New Age Staff and contact your local public health authorities to allow them to begin the process of contact tracing and other possible actions/steps. Individuals who have had close contact to someone who tests positive should self-isolate for at least 14 days. Individuals who test positive for COVID-19 infection should self-isolate and avoid sports participation for a variable duration of time. Prior to returning to football, obtain a note from their health care provider releasing them to full participation.**


Refund Policy 

A FULL refund will be issued at a request filed prior to ordering jerseys. 

A HALF refund will be issued at a request filed after jerseys have been ordered prior to the completion of Week 2 games. 

NO REFUNDS will be issued after the completion of Week 2 games.
